Scholarships for Young Artists

The Ministry of Culture, Government of India announced Scholarships for Young Artists, in the following fields:

Indian Classical Music
Indian Classical Dance
Light Classical Music
Theatre
Visual art
Mime Folk
Traditional and Indigenous Arts

Scholarship
A monthly stipend of Rs. 5000/- will be paid for a duration of two years

Eligibility
Indian Nationals, Aged between 18 to 25 years,
Should have undergone a minimum of 5 years training with their Guru/Institutes
Acquired good proficiency in the chosen field
