THE HINDU, in association with Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo, Japan; announced The Hindu – Hitachi Scholarships for technical training in Japan.
The 6 month scholarship consists of a return air ticket (economy), lodging and boarding expenses, all work related conveyance, and a fixed monthly allowance.

Eligibility:
Aged below 30 years
Graduate in Engineering (B.E. or B.Sc. Engg)
At least one year of professional experience
