ISB to open new campus at Mohali

Riding on its success at Hyderabad, India’s premier business school Indian School of Business (ISB) is all set to open its second campus at Mohali, in the northern Indian state of Punjab. To promote the world class management education in the state, the state government of Punjab offered to lease 70 acres of land for 99 years to ISB at an attractive price of Rs1/- per acre.

ISB plans to set up the Mohali Campus by 2012. The Mohali campus of ISB is partnered by industry leaders Bharti, Hero Corporate Services, Max India, and Punj Lloyd. Each of these 4 corporate houses will contribute 50 Cr to the new ISB campus.

The agreement between the management school and the state government was decided on Wednesday. The Mohali campus of ISB will run 4 centers of excellence (COEs).

These COEs are:
Max India Institute of Health Care Management,
Bharti Institute of Public Policy,
BML Munjal Institute of Manufacturing and Operational Excellence
Punj Lloyd Institute of Physical Infrastructure Management

ISB’s Mohali campus, with its 1yr Management Program (MBA) and various short duration management development programs will cater to the industry needs in the NCR area.
