The Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India announced the National Entrance Screening Test 2009 (NEST 2009) to be conducted on 10 May 2009

NEST 2009 is used for admission to 5 year Integrated Masters Program at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER - http://niser.ac.in/NEST) Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE Center of Excellence in Basic Sciences (CBS – http://www.tifr.res.in/~cbs) Mumbai.

The students of this program will be offered a scholarship of Rs 5000/- per month and an yearly allowance to pay for books & supplies.

Eligibility
60% marks in 10th Std & 10+2 exam,
Born after 01-Oct-1984

Selection Process

Written Test, NEST 2009, will be conducted on 10 May 2009

Application is available online at http://niser.ac.in/NEST. Application fee is Rs 500/-

Candidates can Apply online and send the application fee in the form of a DD to the admissions office.

Or Candidates can download the form, fill it, attach the application fee DD and send it ti admissions office

Or Candidates can request for a printed application from the admission office and fill it and send it to the office.
